چکیده
The studies on floating offshore wind turbines (FOWTs) have been increasing over recent decades due to the growing interest in renewable energy. present paper proposes a barge platform with four moonpools support Technical University of Denmark 10 MW turbine for designed water depth 60 m. A 4 × 2 mooring system eight lines is also proposed platform. main dimensions are optimally selected respect its preliminary hydrodynamic properties and potential financial benefit. barge-type FOWT then demonstrated be aligned DNV standard requirements terms intact damage stability. Furthermore, coupled time-domain simulations conducted under environmental operational conditions by using Simo-Riflex-AeroDyn (SRA). Through decay test simulations, natural periods within recommended ranges. benchmarked 3 concept that was used installed Kitakyushu. response magnitudes line tension similar both systems, thus preferred lower cost. In addition, preliminarily able survive 50-year extreme parked status, as well normal operating status.

In this study, an unsteady aerodynamic simulation is performed to realize the influences of platform surge motion on the aerodynamic performance of a high capacity offshore floating wind turbine. A dynamic model with pitch angle control system is utilized to propose a more realistic model of wind turbine and also achieve the rated condition of the rotor. The transient effect of platform surge m...
